WoWHead.com has put together a great guide for getting your ilvl up in order to run Heroic Dungeons (630+ items, ilvl 610 req.) and the 10th Anniversary Molten Core Raid (640 Helm/Core Hound mount 100% drop, ilvl 615 req.):

The MyRareFinder addon is also an easy way to track which rares you have killed, since most Draenor rares are a once-per-toon kill. Hunting down the rares can give you some ~600 ilvl items, followers, toys, and also builds your garrison resources.
